FAQS

Who / What are ISEB?

The Information Systems Examination Board (ISEB), a division of the British Computer Society (BCS) provides industry recognised qualifications that measure competence, ability and performance in many IT areas. ISEB qualifications add value to professional careers by providing both the means and the platform for recognition and enhanced career development.

ISEB qualification portfolio offers a large number of IT qualifications in a variety of disciplines including the ISEB Foundation Certificate in Programme and Project Support Office.

As well as being universally accepted, ISEB qualifications are carefully tailored to meet the needs of IS practitioners, at all stages in their career.

ISEB sees the following advantages in computer-based exams:

  • ISEB candidates can obtain ISEB qualifications throughout the year rather than at pre-set exam dates
  • Examinations can be booked with less than two days notice
  • Results are immediately available
  • Computer based exams eliminate the need for examination papers and answer sheets and gives an extra level of security
